Week 15

In this week, we make a meeting in ‘new’ team. It is a challenge for us. It means everyone needs to do more work than before. In seminar, I know our new mission is starting to write the creative brief. And the class shows us how to do it. I think it is very useful for me. I know we need to make a high value creative. If I want to do a high value work, I should develop my writing skill. And we need to have a great idea.

Review this mission, it helps me to know some key forms in creative. Such as types and key points. I think it will help me in future. Because I will meet more mission like this, so this skill will let me have more experience in working.

Week 14

Week 14

In this week, I know we need to do the quality and quantity research, and need to make the persona for client. However, there are serious problems in our group, in our team, there are two members absent all the big agency class. So the tutor give us a advise about doing the assignment 2 in three people. In fact, this is my first time to meet this problem. The important thing is we need to re-allocate work. I think this problem let me improve the skill in ‘problem-solving.’ Because if just I face this problem, I will choose just work by myself, I thank Kate for giving us a useful advise.

On the other hand, how to allocate work again is also an important experience. I think it will help me to know if I meet some serious problem, I will know communicate is very necessary. Because in group work, everyone’s opinion is important.

Week 13

Week 13

In this week, we describe what we have done in seminar. Such as, we have done the competitors research. However, we miss some work, so Kate talk with, we know the mission for each week. And we know we need to think the plan, do more market research. After the seminar, we discuss together, and Billy and I do some research about the department of university. We got the contact details of MMU, this will help us to work in next step.

This week I think we had a successful meeting. in this meeting, I practiced my English, developed my skill in ‘express more opinion.’ And I will pay attention to the local restaurant, I think I have the advantage in this part. Because we choose some Chinese restaurant, I can communicate with them easily.

Week 12

Week 12

This week is the first seminar in term 2. After the Christmas day, I need in order to  change my attitude to fit the class. This week, I got my feedback on assignment 1. Through this feedback I found I have some problems need to improve. For example, I am not focused on the Grannt chart in assignment 1. And tutor also give me some useful advise in this term. Kate advised me to book an English class. This is my weakness, so I also wish to improve it. it not only can help me to get a high mark in course, but also can help me to fit the UK’s life.

In this week, I am making a new plan for term 2. I want to further develop my time-management. And I will keep my attendance, improve my team works in this term.

Week 11

Week 11

This week we don’t have class. I am working at home, I tried to create a plan for shoot business. Because I want to follow my time-management. And I thought the plan can clear what should I do in the next few weeks.

Week 10

In this week, when we did the group meeting, tutor showed us a timetable about this course. And tell us clear work in each week. I know we must to finish our question of market research. This timetable is useful for my develop my time-management. Because I can plan my work through this timetable. Then I will make a reasonable plan in this week and next term.

This week is the last week in term 1. I think I was already develop my ‘time-management’ skill, the ‘express more opinions’ is also improve but not achieve the objective. So I need to improve it in next term. I think I almost achieve my objectives in term 1. I can pay more passion in group work, I can work preciseness. However, the second year is more busy than the first year. So I need to work harder.

Week 9

This week, tutor explain the assignment 1 to us, I know I need to prepare the PDP, PDR, Online log and Peer assignment. At home, I think what skill I have already developed, I found time management, express more opinion and problem-solving I was already developed. However, I need to continue to improve these skills. I start to think about the assignment 1 preciseness. On seminar, I did the group meeting, the tutor suggested us to see the ‘7 elements of a strong Business Model’ on Google. Through this article, I am clear how to build a strong business model and we can check our work through these 7 models. For example, I think the ‘Establish business processes’ is I need to care for, because I am not having the experience for it.

I think we have a great group meeting this week, because I try to talk with others more. And we discussed lots of things, it let me know each other more. It is good for us to do the team works better. And it is also let me feel confidence, let me have a passion for work.
